Our youngest children are consistently loved by teachers in all our birth through preschool classes. We are using a curriculum that focuses on God’s love and character rather than good moral behavior. We believe wholeheartedly that right behavior follows a right relationship with God and not the reverse.
We currently have two classes for children that meet during the pastor's sermon time. Your family can decide if you'd prefer to keep your children with you during the sermon or have them attend a Sunday School class. Classes are age-dependent: approx. 5 years old up through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 6th Grade.
Abundant Life Church offers a youth group for young adults in grades 7-12. Youth group is held on Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on the church campus. Pastor Josh will be leading the youth through a series on a rational faith, why Christianity makes sense.
ALC is in love with good music. In addition to our Praise & Worship Team, we have special opportunities (at Christmas, Easter, etc.) for your involvement.
Band of Brothers men's group is centered around Bible studies and looking at the life of a Worshiping Warrior. We meet on Saturday's at 7:00 a.m. For more information please see Torrey Brinkley or send a contact request from our contact page.
Morning Group: This group meets at the church on Tuesday mornings at 9:00. During this time, you’ll be offered an opportunity to grow into a deeper spiritual relationship with God as we begin a study of the book of John, and build solid friendships with other women at ALC. For more details visit with Pam Coleman or Vicky Brinkley.
Evening Group: The Monday evening women’s Prayer / Study group meets at 7:00 p.m. at the church. There will be time for sharing and prayer, and after each session you’ll leave the group feeling closer to God and closer to your sisters in Christ. We will be using a study guide based on the Book of Revelation and is by Margaret Feinberg from the Beautiful Word series. The study is called “Revelation – Extravagant Hope.” If you have questions or would like to attend, talk to Teresa Cawthon, Avonne Kettler or Susie Paulson.
If you’d like to be a pray-er for those of us here at ALC, or if you have a prayer request you’d like to pass along for others to be praying about, the Prayer Chain is for you.
We currently provide financial support to three overseas missionaries (serving in Africa, Asia, and Russia), as well as Life Choices Pregnancy Center and the Rocky Mountain District of the EFCA. Missions support is funded by a tithe (1/10th of our offerings) and currently administered by our Elders.
