Our infants and youngest children are cared for, kept safe, and consistently loved by our nursery workers who have all completed background checks.
We currently have two classes for children that meet during the pastor's sermon time. Your family can decide if you'd prefer to keep your children with you during the sermon or have them attend a Sunday School class. Classes are age-dependent: approx. 5 years old up through 2nd Grade, and 3rd through 6th Grade. All Sunday School teachers have completed background checks.
ALC is in love with good music. In addition to our Praise & Worship Team, we have special opportunities (at Christmas, Easter, etc.) for your involvement.
Band of Brothers men's group is centered around Bible studies and looking at the life of a Worshiping Warrior. Our fall session has begun but it’s not too late to join the group. All men are encouraged to join us at 7:00 a.m. each Saturday here at ALC for a yummy breakfast, followed by an interactive study in God’s Word. For more information please see Torrey Brinkley or send a contact request from our contact page.
Morning Group: The Ladies’ Tuesday Morning group will be discussing The Well-Watered Woman. Visit with Vicky Brinkley or Pam Coleman for more information.
Evening Group: The Monday evening women’s Prayer / Study group meets at 7:00 p.m. at the church. There will be time for sharing and prayer, and after each session you’ll leave the group feeling closer to God and closer to your sisters in Christ. We are reading "Relentless Joy: A Bible Study of Philippians on How to Live a Joyful Life" by Christina Patterson. All ladies are welcome to join us. Please contact Avonne Kettler or Susie Paulson for more information.
If you’d like to be a pray-er for those of us here at ALC, or if you have a prayer request you’d like to pass along for others to be praying about, the Prayer Chain is for you.
We currently provide financial support to three overseas missionaries (serving in Africa, Asia, and Russia), as well as Life Choices Pregnancy Center and the Rocky Mountain District of the EFCA. Missions support is funded by a tithe (1/10th of our offerings) and currently administered by our Elders.
